The Southern Right Whales come into False Bay and can be seen from the coasts of Simon's Town. These include Bryde's Whale, the Humpback Whale (which is the one that 'sings') and the Killer Whale. They are known as the Orca. By far the most common, however, is the Southern Right Whale.
Boulders is the most fabulous swimming beach in Cape Town and it's only a 10min walk from us. A swim in the clear, warm waters of Boulders Beach is always fun on a hot summer day but just walking on the beach and see a close block and white penguin swimming past.
